Once walking around the city I was taking pictures of parents with children. The way how mothers were holding theirs little babies got me inpired.

Later I tried to recreat that child position and adopt it to an adult body.  ” It must feel good because everyone knows the children love to be in parent’s arms.”

DESCRIPTION
I was asked to design “an invention” as a university project. Decided to concentrate on humans and started to observe children.

Once walking around the city I was taking pictures of parents with children. The way how mothers were holding their little babies got me inspired.

Later I tried to recreate that child position and adopt it to an adult body.  ” It must feel good because everyone knows the children love to be in parent’s arms.”
What came out at the end?

Pelucio was born out of a need, a need of being close to something (someone).
From my observation I created some kind of furniture, something between a chair and a bed.  Pelucio allows you to lean all your weight on it without being afraid that you will fall, gives you a safety falling.
