Initial Challenge
Roca aimed to swiftly enhance its shower space offerings by identifying and integrating new features or functions that would:

Be implemented in the short term within ongoing product developments.

Differentiate Roca’s products from competitors with minimal cost impact.

The Method
To address this challenge, a three-day interdisciplinary workshop was organized, involving teams from Design, Marketing, and Sales:Service & Concept Design Researcher
Day 1: Listen & Learn

Conducted sessions to understand current product offerings and market positioning.

Identified existing issues and areas for improvement.

Engaged in role-playing exercises to experience products from a user perspective.
Day 2: Ideation & Solution Development

Listed problem statements based on insights from Day 1.

Facilitated creative activities to brainstorm potential solutions.

Evaluated and validated proposed solutions to ensure feasibility and impact.
Day 3: Presentation & Consensus

Presented findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders.

Reached consensus on actionable items and next steps for implementation.
The Solution
The workshop resulted in a set of innovative, cost-effective features ready for rapid integration into Roca’s shower space products, enhancing their market appeal and reinforcing Roca’s commitment to continuous improvement.
My Involvement
As the Concept Designer, I was responsible for:
