DESCRIPTION
On this project I worked together with a Taiwanese designer FU-KUNG HUANG. The design brief requested a 42” LCD TV for the Asus product line.
The design must follow the existing 32” TV and is targeted at the high-end product segment.
To add style value to the product we added a stripe with a diamond cut logo on the front bezel of the LCD TV.
A metal mesh panel was used to cover the speakers and to give it a clean and simple look.
In 2006 the Asus 42” LCD TV was awarded with a Japanese Good Design Award (Gmark).
